The rest of the day was pretty cruddy. Elijah did something to his foot/pinky toe earlier, so he spent most of the afternoon and evening refusing to walk anywhere. Thankfully he started hobbling around just before dinner and was walking pretty normally by bedtime. Dinner was delicious, even if 3 of the kids didn't think so, including the one who requested it!

I've got the last batch of peaches on the stove bubbling away into jam. Grace and Katelee helped wash them as I cut them up. Elijah even helped! He was handing peaches to Katelee to wash and in between would walk over to me to act as quality control, having many samples to make sure the "peechees" were up to par. These are such juicy peaches. Yuuuummm!

Reading this reminded me of a time when I was young and getting a tooth pulled. I too kept wincing and tensing up. The dentist would say, 'does it hurt?' to which I would reply, 'no, but I know it's supposed to!'
LOL!
I hate the drill. Hate hate hate. I tense up before they even start. I feel for you.
