Word of the year

I've read recently in a couple different places about having a word of the year. You chose a word that is something you want to focus on for the upcoming year. You think about it, what it means, what you want to accomplish, as you go through each day. I really liked the idea and I thought this would add a nice element to my Project 365. I wouldn't have to make every picture go with my word of the year, but it would certainly be a good thing to do from time to time.

I have been thinking about which word to chose, what do I want to focus on this year? Simplicity? Serenity? Happiness? Love? Family? Nurture? All of these are things I want to focus on this year. I decided that I would chose:

I think this word has so many aspects to it and by focusing on this, I can accomplish a lot of what I want this year. Nuturing myself, my family, our home... these things will bring in the other things I would like. As I go through each day this year, I will focus on ways to nurture and see where this takes me.

Dear Daughter of mine, You are sooo wise! I love your word of the year. . . I will have to think about that and pick one for myself because I feel my life has become frenzied and unfocused. I like that concept. You are sooo smart [just maybe you get some of that from your mother ;o)].

I love you, yo' momma
[ps I LOVE getting a new picture every day--even one of a pile of hair on the kitchen floor! LOL]

Dear Mom, I wish I could take the credit, but I glean my creativity and inspiration from everyone else - like from YOU, for example. I'm glad you're enjoying the pictures! I'm having fun taking them. :c)

Love,
yo' dotta
