She played for a while and then we asked her what she wanted to have for dinner. The birthday girl(or boy) gets to pick dinner on their birthday. It was decided to go out for dinner. She picked Shaker's and we drove there only to find it had closed! :c( We were so sad. We loved Shaker's. A change of plans took us to Applebee's.
More playing on the DS while we waited for the food. ;c)
We came home and had family home evening. We talked some more about baptism, since that will be happening for Grace on Saturday! :cD
Happy birthday was sung and the candles over the yummy ice cream cake were blown out. (I'm amazed that this picture was taken in the dark with all the lights out!)
And a few more minutes of play before bedtime. She got the National Geographic Panda game and is loving it. (I picked this one as my p365 picture.)

My Lindsay turned 8 in Aug. and was baptized in Sept. They grow up so fast.
All she wanted for Christmas was a red DS. Santa brought her one.
I was so sad to miss Gracie's birthday... and almost as sad to hear that Shakers has closed. Little ones do grow up way too fast!

And yay for the Nintendo DS!!! She talked about wanting one so bad during our Christmas party in dance class. We need to get together again really soon...
